Designed to support local parishioners. A person does not need to be identified by name, unless they wish it. A brief understanding of what kind of prayer is requested, i.e. healing, consolation, thanksgiving, etc., is helpful. For example: “A person needs prayers for comfort.” ********** Prayer for Healing Lord our God, You have asked us through the lips of your Beloved Son to love one another as He has loved us. Because of this command, we, trusting in Your eternal goodness, ask Your comfort and saving help to Your friend and servant for whom we pray. In mercy, exert Your power, relieve the burdens that crush, strengthen the mind overwhelmed by sorrow, sanctify resolves hindered by pain, make bodily powers obey You, and take possession of Your creation. Let them trust in Your mercy, take heart from Your promises, rely unceasingly on Your grace, and turn to Him who heals, Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen ************* Gloria Dietrich began this ministry at St. Joseph Parish. Let us keep her soul in our prayers.
